This is a breakdown of an upcoming real estate development called The Triangles of Texas. This development would serve as an ideal weekend getaway for residents in the greater Austin area, as well as, residents of San Antonio.
Now that you have some background on the project, let's take a look at some of the proposed properties.
Casa Estrella
Casa Estrella is a stargazing glamp site (short for glamorous camping) built for two. The site features a small A-Frame structure that measures 10'x10' with large glass skylights built into the roof to allow for expansive views of the night sky; all from the comfort of a real bed.
The side walls of the structure can be lifted and suspended (with hydraulic aid) to allow tenants to have the option to relax while staying connected with the nature that surrounds them. The primary structure sits on a raised deck that measures 18'x18'; allowing the walls to shade nearly half of the exterior deck when in their raised position. This will be great in the summer months, which can get rather hot in central Texas.
The site also features a holographic morning window, fold out exterior table (with 2 lounge chairs), a fire pit, a hammock, yard games (such as ladderball) and an onsite restroom structure with a shower, toilet and sink.
The Overlook
The Overlook is a a lofted A-Frame structure built for two. While not for the faint of heart, this structure offers an experience like nothing else... Tenants will wake up and see the sunrise over a sea of trees located just under their feet.
The sleeping area is accessible via a suspension bridge connected to an enclosed spiral staircase. The base level of the structure contains a small kitchen area and full bathroom. The gap between the two living areas will feature a large circular hammock swing that guest can use at their leisure.
The Safari
The Safari is a large canvas tent structure capable of comfortably sleeping six guests at a time... seven if someone is willing to take the couch.
The structure features a small patio, a kitchenette (with ample prep space), a full bathroom, a small dining table with chairs, a couch, a tv, a queen bed, two twin beds and an additional queen bed in the loft.
The Lotus
The Lotus is a stargazing canvas tent structure capable of comfortably sleeping four guests at a time. The unique design makes for a one of a kind experience and is a great weekend getaway idea for a small friend group or pair of couples.
This structure features a hexagonal deck, above ground hot tub, four twin beds (which can be pushed together to form two queen beds), four large bean bag chairs, a coffee table and a wood stove to heat the unit in the winter.
